Barbara Karmazin answers questions from the FF&P Zone:
What novel has inspired you the most as a writer? C.J. Cherryh's Merchanter's Luck inspired me. It's a Science Fiction novel with a strong romantic subplot.
If you could be any character in a novel, who would it be? I'd like to be Jeresa from my newest novella, The Zone which debuted recently at Changeling Press.
If you could be any cartoon character? Witchblade
What is your favorite word? Spaceflight
Who is your favorite character from your own work? Rulagh, the alien hero I created for The Huntress.
If you were going to be dropped on a deserted space colony, what three things would you take? My computer with unlimited Internet access, a first aid kit and an ebook reader where I can download all the books I want.
Wolf, vampire, or demon? Werewolf.
Any last words? When writing, always strive to boldly go where no one has gone before, and this includes in the bedroom.

Ah, Witchblade. I did watch the series on TNT (I think it was TNT) a few years back, but I gather the comic fans weren't happy with the series. I'll have to check out the comics.
I've never seen "Witchblade" but the more I hear about it, the more I think I need to get it!
Did they do a live version or am I nuts?
Barbara has been an inspiration for me. I "met" her when we shared a critique group and I loved the critiques she did for me. I totally fell in love with Rulagh, but my favorite books were those about the Selkies, especialy "Down Came a Blackbird.
